| Just trying to get the information straight... Bosch states their sensors can withstand and function perfectly in 1000 C or 1800 F temperature. You said the most the sensor can ever see is 900 F. That's incorrect. I don't know why Innovative says 900 F. But I'd think Bosch would know their products better. Anyway, what's the hottest our turbo cars can see? 1200+F at the exhaust valves? Much of that heat is converted into kinetic energy of spinning the turbine. How much heat is left after the turbine wheel? I don't know. I don't have an EGT mounted there. But I think a turbine can usually reduce temperature by upto 400 F. So realistically it won't see 900F after the turbo. Even if it does in the worst case, it should be well covered.
